The first thing that those who are busy with it, and that Muslims strive to acquire, is knowledge of the Book of God Almighty, because the honor of knowledge comes from the honor of the known, and among the most noble of the sciences is the science of interpretation, which is an explanation of the meaning of the words of God Almighty and the removal of ambiguity from meanings that may be ambiguous and confusing. So the scholars took care of the science of the ambiguous and wrote books about it, and among these scholars is “Imam Abu al-Faraj Abd al-Rahman
ibn Ali ibn Muhammad al-Jawzi, who died in the year 597 AH,” as he is considered one of the scholars of Hanbali jurisprudence, so he was an ocean of interpretation, a sign.
In biography and history, he was described as having good speech, a jurist, knowledgeable about consensus and difference, with skill, understanding, intelligence, memorization and recall, and who delved into the interpretation of the Holy Qur’an, as his interpretation was distinguished by stating the aspect of the problem and answering it, either by being satisfied with one answer, or by mentioning several sayings without weighing between them.
I chose the narrative problem of the determined prophets and messengers - peace be upon them - in his interpretation "Zad Al-Masir fi Ilm Al-Tafsir" because of the great importance of this science in removing the problem from the verse, and clearing the prophets of what is not appropriate for them,
