The research addresses the story of how the roman emperor “Heraclius” embraced Islam in Al-Ya'qubi's novel. This novel is mentioned in the Book of Al-Ya'qubi's History in addition to the story of how the roman emperor “Heraclius” embraced Islam without any evidence. It does not match the rest of novels mentioned in this regard. Also, it does not match the following historical events. The study aims to reveal the truth of the story of how Heraclius embraced Islam and to criticize Al-Ya'qubi's novel through what was mentioned in Al-Sahihayn books. To reveal the reasons that led Al-Ya'qubi to mention this novel and to correct some common mistakes in history books. The method of criticizing the novel that Al-Ya'qubi mentioned by following appropriate steps, such as the rules of the method of criticizing novels and news as well as analyzing them. One of the results of this research was Al-Ya'qubi's novel of the story of how Heraclius embraced Islam is untrue because it does not clearly match the novels of Al-Imam Al-Bukhari and Al-Imam Muslim, as well as the method and rules of the truth novel. Al-Ya'qubi's novel and its results do not match the historical facts and the Prophet Muhammad's glad tidings of the conquest of Caesar Country and the fall of King Caesar, and leaving Arab countries.
