Sufism, which is described as the pulsating artery in the body of Islamic culture, has emerged from every subject that is situated within the framework of this culture, even those considered far removed from its usual areas, such as logic and theology.
The issues that are discussed regarding thought in the Islamic world are not without evidence that Sufism plays a decisive role in these issues. The subject of the soul is not necessarily excluded from this.
It is not possible for a person, especially in specialized scientific studies, to separate Sufism from the soul, because the soul is the criterion of Sufi experience and the most reliable link around which all the directions taken by Sufism revolve. The best-known limit of Sufism is the internalization of the religious condition of man.
Even the most famous limits of Sufism are the internalization of the religious state in man, and these are nothing but the conflicts of the soul with its surroundings. Sufism delves into the depths of the human soul and extracts its essence that has been hidden from it due to the worlds that have surrounded it in its apparent life. Our research seeks to identify the most important opinions that have been put forward in the field of Sufism regarding the subject of the soul, because of its great importance that is closely linked to the general doctrine by which Sufism is distinguished.
