This study aimed to explore the relationship between psychological hardness and social support among those recovering from drugs addiction. It adopted the descriptive correlative approach because this approach fits with the goals of the study. The study’s sample was chosen through using the convenience sampling method. It consists of males and females who recovered recently from drugs addiction and make regular visits to the National Centre for the Rehabilitation of Addicts / Shafa Badran. The members of the sample are aged between (18 – 35) years. They are represented in (490) individuals who recovered from drugs addiction. In order to collect data, the psychological hardness scale and the social support scale were developed. The validity and reliability of the latter scales were checked. Based on the results, the psychological hardness and social support levels of the members of the sample are high. Based on the results, there is a significant positive correlation – at the statistical significance level of (0.05 = α) between psychological hardness and social support among those recovering recently from drugs addiction. The study recommends taking measures to increase the psychological hardness level of all the members of the society in general and the school students in particular. It also recommends increasing the social support provided for those recovering from drugs addiction.
