The phenomenon of repetition in poetry imparts significant effectiveness to the text, creating a strong and profound impact in linguistic use and artistic formation. It is a technique employed by poets with the aim of influencing the reader or listener, evoking their emotions and feelings, and delivering a message clearly and with artistic beauty. Repetition is a dynamic and multifaceted concept, serving as a fundamental element in expression, thought, and interaction. Poets often employ repetition in their

poems as a skillful use of language, generating movement within the text through the sound, meaning, and connotation of the repeated words. The repetition of words or images may also be used to highlight psychological or intellectual transitions, reflecting a sense of transformation or motion within the text.
Repetition has thus become a key element in the identity of the poetry of thieves, especially among the outcasts, linked to cultural and literary traditions. Moreover, it serves as a means of expressing their poverty and rejection of their circumstances, as well as emphasizing the extent of their suffering from harsh realities. They present a vivid portrayal of the human struggle against its reality through artistic models that enrich the Arab poetic landscape.
