Pragmatics is one of the emerging sciences in communication studies. It primarily focuses on the study of language in use، and also involves the study of the speaker's intentions as a key participant in the discourse. The speaker possesses the tools of delivery and dialogue، acting as the clarifier and elucidator of the thoughts، visions، and stories that go through their mind. This science also focuses on the addressee، as they are the receiver of what they hear from the speaker or what is narrated and recounted to them. This is due to their possession of the tools of reception. On the other hand، this science also focuses on the principle of intention as a unifying point that brings together the two sides of the discourse، the speaker and the addressee.
In addition to the above، speech acts are one of the most important main topics in contemporary or modern linguistics (known as pragmatics). These speech acts are one of the most important pillars of the science of pragmatic analysis. Pragmatics also deals with the study of argumentation and the identification of the mechanisms used to persuade and influence addressees.
This study aims to shed light on some of the pragmatic dimensions through the Qur'anic models in Surah Al-Waqi'ah as a model. Consequently، we will analyze it using a pragmatic analysis based on the application of the theories of argumentation and speech acts
