The study aimed at identifying the psychological and cognitive effects of the exposure of adolescents to the Internet. The study relied on the field survey methodology for a random sample of 300 students of adolescents aged 12-18 years from Cairo governorate who use the Internet.The results of the study showed that there are statistically significant differences between the rate of adolescents 'use of the internet according to the gender variable and the educational level. There are statistically significant differences according to the economic level variable. There is a statistically significant correlation between the motivations of adolescents' use of the internet and the cognitive effects, There are statistically significant differences for adolescents in terms of the psychological effects of the use of different Internet sites according to the gender variable or economic level, while there are statistical differences according to the variable level Education.
