The city of Sinaw has played a leading economic role since ancient times, especially in the field of trade. It had many factors that made it the Rukban Meeting place for merchants and travelers, which was reflected in the recovery of its trade on the one hand, and the openness of its people to their surroundings on the other hand. Therefore, it witnessed a dynamic movement in its Demographics and economies, and this was evident in the population elements that settled in it and the villages that grew. On its outskirts, benefiting from the water resources that were made available to its residents, as well as the continuity of its role until the present time. This is what prompted the researcher to write about the commercial role of this city under the title "The economic importance of the Omani city of Sinaw during the first three centuries of migration" hoping that this study will be an introduction to other studies related to The economic aspects of this promising town.
This study aims to reveal the factors that prepared the city of Sinaw to play its economic role during different Historical Eras, as well as to shed light on Archaeological discoveries with an economic dimension, in addition to highlighting the features of the ancient market and developments in the site until the beginnings of the blessed renaissance.
The study is divided into three sections: The first section deals with the factors affecting the economic role of the city of Sinaw, while the second section focuses on Archaeological discoveries in Sinaw related to economic dimensions, and the third section traces the developments of the ancient market site in Sinaw.
The researcher followed the historical approach based on analysis and deduction by studying archaeological objects, historical and literary texts, as well as texts contained in jurisprudential sources.
