The current study deals with one of the important historical issues related to writing for the authority, and the writing in question here does not mean the job of the writer, or court writing, but what the study means is writing directed to the authority, either out of advice, criticism, hypocrisy and rapprochement, or writing by commission and direct order. , or writing to defend specific intellectual and political issues
The study here will be limited to selected models that are sufficient to achieve its intended purpose while monitoring the writing’s connection with the political reality in history,Abbasid Caliphate. The research addressed some issues, such as writing an assignment or writing a direct order.
Among the most famous writings that occupied a prominent place in cultural and intellectual production in the Abbasid state is the book Al-Kharaj by Judge Abu Yusuf, which served as protocols covering various aspects of civilization.

One of the types of writing in contact with authority that also appeared in the history of the Abbasid state is defending a cause, or a specific point of view regarding an intellectual or political matter.
