This study examines the rhetorical contributions presented by Salah al-Din al-Safadi in his book "Supporting the Rebel Against the Common Norm." The study delves into various rhetorical issues upon which Salah al-Din al-Safadi relied to construct his critical rhetorical perspective, drawing from the three rhetorical sciences: the science of rhetoric, the science of stylistic embellishments (badi'), and the science of meanings and their implications. These aspects are studied and analyzed, revealing that al-Safadi referred to the Quran and the speech of the Arabs. He crafted a distinctive rhetorical approach, enriched by his extensive cultural knowledge, through which he enriched rhetorical studies in his work "Supporting the Rebel Against the Common Norm." He turned rhetoric into a lush garden, outshining his contemporaries by adhering to a scholarly and systematic rhetorical methodology. Through this approach, he established the direction of literature based on organized rules and precise scientific methodologies, thereby opening numerous windows of knowledge in this field for every scholar, poet, and researcher. It is evident to any observer of his rhetorical contributions that his era was abundant in intellectual, cultural, critical, and rhetorical achievements.
