This study examines the issue of empowering Egyptian woman and aims to describe the determinants related to empowering Egyptian woman in information society. In addition, It aims to acknowledge the gains that women has achieved from their empowerment in the society and indicates the difficulties facing the empowerment process. The study relies on sample social survey method and questionnaire tool. The field study is applied on a sample of female workers in five professional sectors in Al-menoufia governorate and the sample number is (316 individuals). The study has reached a number of conclusions that are considered ones of the most important determinants of woman empowerment in information society. Those determinants are the economic cost to enter the internet, the gained experience from computer software study, and provision of training in information technology field. Moreover, the study has found that encouraging girls into joining scientific major, qualifying women professionally to work in information technology sector and reducing the gap between males and females in information technology field are considered ones of the most important mechanisms of woman empowerment in information society.
