This study dealt with the sayings of historians about the city of Al-Zahra, where they revealed the places of beauty in the city, and they specified the year in which construction began, the time period in which it was built, and the cost of its construction, and they also mentioned the number of construction workers who participated in its construction, and described the towers, masts, and doors.
It is worth noting that we compared the opinions of historians, and we identified points of agreement and points of disagreement, and by using the historical method and its tools, we were able to weight the opinions of historians who were contemporary with the construction process or were close to the date of construction, through a comparative table that we prepared for this purpose.
