The Holy Land in general and the Holy Sepulcher suffered particularly during the Crusades which extended between (491h/1099a.d – 582h/1187a.d), from the persecution and looting comprising people and stone, so the injustice and oppression in various fields. This situation was reflected in the building and construction of the holy city of Jerusalem, where it suffered from systematic attempts to obliterate its Sacred Islamic religious buildings, and sabotage operations inside and outside it, as well as other buildings have been changed in their names and features and architectural elements.This study explain the extent of the destroying and damaging ofthe Islamic religious buildings.
Due to the lack of the architectural sources that issued during that period, this study relied on the literature of the trips, which consider one of the most important sources that talked about the architecture of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and The Dome of the Rock, in different times, especially in the Crusades occupation of the country.The study also focused on the western trips in Particular, because these tripsknown well during the time of the Crusader rule of the region between (491h/1099a.d – 565h/1070a.d).The western travellers and pilgrims visited the city of Jerusalem through the adjudging of their masters,consequentlythese journeys gave us their views and real ideas about the city and its architecture, without any bad effects from any Muslim ruler or Muslim Shepherds.
