This research aims at detecting features of narration in five drama texts by the Jordanian theatre author Ghanam Ghanam namely: I Shall Die in Exile, Whistling in the Head, the Doors, The Anonymous Lover, and The General as he Suddenly Returns, as well as One Bullet is Insufficient. The paper, prior exploring the features, required the introduction of a theoretical framework over the indication of narration linguistically and as a terminology. It also focused on the presence of narration in ancient theatre in Oriental civilizations such as the Indian and Chinese, and Western such as the Greek and Roman, where it contributed to the formation of the theatrical experience. Subsequently it also did for the Renaissance Age, the Contemporary Western Theatre as well as the Post Drama Theatre. The Arab Theatre, on the other hand, inspired the ancient traditions of narration through the experiments of a number of Arab theatrical figures. The paper relies on a number of dramatic transcripts which are displayed and had a striking audience, which reassures that behind a good show lies a good script which requires researchers to look into and contemplate and thus would lead to elevate the Drama script and promote the trend of Authorship and publication.
