The present study aims at : Knowing the relationship between personal intelligence and (emotional – social) competence, Sample consisted of (120) students. of sixth preparatory students in the schools of the province of Karbala, , the researcher applied scale personal intelligence and social emotional competence scale. analyzing data using (One Sample t-test, and for two independent samples, Person's Correlation Coefficient), the results: there is a positive correlation between personal intelligence and emotional and social competence, There is no difference between males and females, scientific and literary branch in a relationship < /p>
