There are a lot of archaeological sites in Mesopotamia that did not take their share of archaeological excavations because of the conditions that passed through the country, so the Iraqi Antiquities Department made sure to carry out some scientific excavations in a number of archaeological sites. Among these sites is the site of Arabs Kempt, located in the province of Kirkuk This province, which witnessed the emergence of the oldest agricultural villages, and the most important of these finds that were found on the site are pottery so our research will focus on this pottery only, especially the pottery of the Akkadian period and the old Babylonian period.
