This research aims at studying and analyzing the social dimensions of the prostitution crime through focusing on the behavioral, cognitive, and organizational characteristics. The behavioral characteristics refer to investigating the prevailing patterns of social relations and the features of social rearing within the prostitutes’ families, as well as their motives to involve into this criminal activity. The cognitive characteristics focus on the channels through which females acquire the know-how of indulging into this activity. The organizational characteristics investigate the strategies females use to practice the prostitution crime. The research is based on a descriptive approach and uses interviews to collect data; interviews have been made with fifteen females accused with prostitution.
