The fulcrum in human capital investment processes is children who are the main means to alleviate the poverty and marginalization that they encounter. Children represent an ample opportunity that is inherent in the recent development strategies. Hence, the research statement is directed at the viability of marginalized childhood and human insecurity seeing that these two issues represent a threat to human development. Considering that violent conflicts, insufficient resources and lack of coordination continue to exist, they result in slowing down the developmental progress and reducing the promoting processes The significance of the present study lies in the truth that childhood is an essential stage in children’s life. They enjoy a set of rights that include security, protection against exploitation, abuse, and any aspect of violence. Children play a crucial role in the future of nations and human societies, as a matter of fact, nations can not uplift independent of their societies that in turn consist of families to which those children belong. The present study used a social survey in the form of a questionnaire for (100) individuals from Al-Mada'in. Therefore, the present study aims at identifying the foremost threats encountering children’s life that cause them to live in a dangerous, unsafe and unstable environment. It also seeks assisting and supporting community members, government and active citizenry programs to establish democratic norms and respect for children's rights The findings of the study revealed that (75%) of the families had lost at least one of their children due to the worsening security situation and the poor economies and poverty that forced them to work for long hours away from home. Also, it is (95%), which is the highest rate, of the crises and their consequences that happened after 2003 in the country negatively affected the childrens’ future and threatened their human security. Based on that, the undertaken study recommends creating an enabling environment that protects and secures children at all levels, starting with family to domestic legislation. Besides, the study calls for developing some limited mechanisms to collect and determine basic data, laying the benchmarks on the major issues related to child protection, as well as defining the participatory techniques for follow-up and processing.
