This paper aims to study the offering of the field (sht) to understand its symbolism and its significance through one Text from Edfou Temple. The king is the one who is responsible for improving the productions of the fields. He should do his best to raise the quality of the fields through agricultural works to guarantee supplying People with food and Gods with offerings as one of his main duties. Therefore, he is described in the inscriptions as one skillful of arms in doing the works of fields as well as a son or inherit of The God of earth Geb. Here he offers the symbol of the fields that are dedicated to Horus the main God of Edfou temple. In return Horus gives the king all fields of Egypt fertile through inundation brought by him to enable him to do his duty and to renew his legitimation to continue setting upon the throne.
