The relationship between Alexander the Great and Rhodes is one of the most debated historical issues; because what existed in the tradition on the subject is very scarce and very confused. Therefore, the scholars disagree on every bit of information regarding our topic in these sources, on its historicity, and on its interpretation. So any researcher will deal with this topic would be encountered with a bombarded series of questions regarding many aspects of the relations between Rhodes and Alexander the Great. I will try in this paper to deal and find satisfactory solutions to these problems.
