The environment in which Abo-Hayan El-Tawhidi lived had a great impact on his satire in which he criticizes the outhority harshly and on the character of this philosophic man of letters who was forced to take despair as a route as exemplified in his book The Two Ministers Morals (Akhlaq Alwazirain). This book was a challenge that was not tackled by many writers. Moreover, he set all his writings to fire in his last days, which was a disaster that embodies this writer as a man teetering at the edge of downfall.

Regarding the text in hand "Akhlaq Alwazirain", this study is concerned with exploring the motives behind writing this book. The writing experience stemmed from Abo-Hayan El-Tawhidi's hate for Al-Saheb Ibn Abbad and Ibn Al-Amid, the two ministers due to their attitude towards him. The goal behind writing this book was not to record certain historical incidents, but rather to delineate the caracters of the two ministers in symbolic and sarcastic way. Sometimes he would explicitly criticize them, and sometimes he would make hints. He was also unbiased as he mentioned some of the two minister's good traits. This resulted in confusion, and many critics accused him of having a contradictory stance. This accusation could be alleviated through this study.
