In this research, I studied the people of Lot and the designation of their places of residence and destruction as the divine laws required the destruction of disbeliever’s nations.
The varieties of this punishment that God has destroyed the people of Lot (peace be upon him) because they committed homosexuality and did not repent from it after the long reminder of their prophet, and their failure to respond to his invitation and advice. If God tortured them with many punishments: (Shaking and And As-Sayhah (awful cry), and the upside-down of their cities and their eclipsed and the rain of heaven on them with the Stones of Fire and sulfur) and this constant with the texts of the Bible and the Holy Quran.
The lesson of mentioning their doom in the sacred texts and stated to warn of the atrocities of the act they committed, warning people and inviting them to commit this forbidden act at the present time.
