The problem of research is summarized by adopting a sociological approach that enables the social researcher to reach a popular region so that a semi-integrated vision and research material can be collected that will enable the understanding and interpretation of the social world of these regions as living an experience of inequality and fear of the future and how to formulate plans for continuity.
In this context, we will attempt to analyze the texts of the respondents from the residents of that region, through which they express their suffering and hardship on the one hand, and on the other hand, And their attempts to resist their situation and their efforts to express their social existence. Questions have been raised about the president's question: What are the forms of political suffering suffered by people living in popular neighborhoods? Several secondary questions have emerged from this question:
- What are the forms of electoral suffering among people living in popular neighborhoods?
- What are the forms of partisan suffering among people living in popular neighborhoods?
- What are the forms of institutional suffering among people living in popular neighborhoods?
- What is the view of people living in popular neighborhoods towards the appropriate solutions to overcome their suffering?
The current research shows the suffering of people in the popular areas politically, at the level of electoral participation represented in the citizens' vision towards the elections and the importance of effective participation in them, and on the level of party participation and their vision towards political parties and their belief in their value, and also at the level of state institutions directly related to the political aspect And to try to reveal their assessment of the level of services provided to them, and finally to see the residents of the popular neighborhoods towards the appropriate solutions to overcome their suffering and serve their issues.
The study draws on its importance in revealing the demands of these groups and what they hope to achieve, as well as to identify the manifestations of political suffering and its dimensions, and then reveal the mechanisms of social integration that reach them to reduce real integration into political life.
A random sample of (12) subjects were randomly selected according to the nature of the research.
The most important research results:
1) The people living in the popular areas are ignorant of the value and feasibility of the elections, on the one hand, and the difficulty of distinguishing between the candidates due to the similarity of choices on the other.
2) The residents of the research area suffer from the lack of interest in them and their urgent issues by the members of the parliamentary councils except for the period of election propaganda only.
3) The majority of members of the research community view political parties as not expressing their reality.
4) The majority does not know the meaning of the political party nor its role, and the strange thing is that many of them have membership in political parties, but they are a formal membership.
5) The research community suffers from low levels of services, and suffering to the highest levels when they consider that all actions such as dodging and manipulating the emotions of citizens.
6) The suffering of the inhabitants of the popular areas is most evident in the constant feeling of distress among many respondents, especially when it comes to their desire to express their identity, who see themselves as living in a "non-human swamp".
