This research focuses on the study of women and their role in building the Andalusian family in the Al-Murābiṭūn and Almohad Era 665 - 483 AH / 1090-1268 A.D., Andalusian society consisted of several classes of women. Each class had its different characteristics from the other ones. For family life, women had a fundamental role in forming the Andalusian Family. Andalusian society had been depended on the small family. Family life in society has been based upon several foundations and rules, including engagement and its associated other important social matters, followed by marriage contract, dowry, and nominated dower up to the wedding party and its traditions and customs then forming the family. The lack of compatibility between spouses, so that family problems became imbued within the family. Divorce was one of the most important factors that dismantled Andalusian families, which had a negative impact on children. As well as all of that the woman had an important economic role in supporting the Andalusian family and she also had an important role manifested in modifying children's behavior for better and teaching them the rules of dealing with others, especially the Elderly.
