The phenomenon of poverty is a natural result of the imbalance in the social justice system that resulted from a series of the economic policies that unleashed market mechanisms and gave a clear priority to the economic interests of capitalist forces in an open capitalist economy that holds the poor responsible for their poverty.
This study aims to analyze the most important indicators of the social performance of the State in Egypt to face the phenomenon of poverty following the January 2011 Revolution, in which the poor were the main drive.
The study arrived at a number of basic conclusions that reflect the structural conditions in Egypt, which affect the living standards of many social classes that led to the reproduction of poverty and widened the classes suffering from its burdens and direct effects.
