دراسة تحليلية لدور الجمعيات الأهلية في دعم حقوق أطفال الشوارع (دراسة مطبعة على محافظة الإسکندرية)

The danger of the spread of the problem of street children lies in the fact that these children are subjected to various forms of physical, sexual and psychological abuse, as well as the denial of the building of healthy social relations, as well as the denial of the minimum level of food, housing, education and health. Which requires the need to provide systematic efforts, policies and programs to reduce the risk of victimization that violates the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which is a coherent structure, to regulate all the affairs of childhood.
The studies and research have emphasized the need for NGOs to plan programs, participate in the development of specific mechanisms and methods for the defense of the rights of the child, develop programs to implement them and invite international organizations to support the rights of the child. These programs, especially after the Ministry of Social Solidarity to ensure that some non-governmental organizations contribute to the implementation of their responsibilities and acts on behalf of the agencies in areas that are supposed to be carried out by the government.
Based on the above, the subject of the study and its main problem is determined in analyzing and monitoring the actual reality of the services of the NGOs associated with supporting the rights of street children to identify their actual role and the related obstacles that prevent the support of street children and their rights.
The researcher relied on the methodology of the social survey in the sample on children living in the centers of street children, as well as a study of the status of some NGOs working in the field of street children's care. The current study was based on the following tools:
A questionnaire form on the role of NGOs in supporting the rights of street children.
B - The case study of some NGOs working in the field of street children care.
Open interviews with specialists and managers of associations.
The results of the study resulted in:
• The majority of the children included in the study are in the age group (14-18 years).
• Most of these children came to NGOs caring for them through friends.
• The most important role of associations related to the promotion of the civil and social rights of the child has been defined in the provision of psychosocial counseling services for children.
• The most important roles of NGOs associated with supporting the health rights of children were the concern of the associations to provide clean meals for each child, and in the same order the Association is keen to provide periodic medical services for children.
• The most important role played by NGOs in support of children's educational rights has been the "commitment of NGOs to provide school and literacy needs" and the associated provision of uniforms and payment of tuition fees.
• The most important role played by NGOs in supporting children's cultural rights is that the Society organizes cultural programs to provide opportunities for children to express their views.

• The most important role played by NGOs in support of children's recreational rights has been to provide NGOs with recreational activities for children, as well as motivate those who excel in activities.
