The thesis topic " Employing Historical Heritage in the first century A.H Poetry " was dedicated by the importance and distinct of our heritage in the first centuryA.H
The importance of the present thesis stems from the following points :
1. It highlights the impact of employing heritage in the first century A.H poetry and indicates its importance for the students of literature.
2. It indicates the links and relations binding heritage and poetic text of the first century A.H poets .
3. It attempts to trace the elements of heritage considering it one of the cultural sources which poets depend on .
Approaches of the study :
The present study is built on a number of approaches including : the Historical approach , for example, the inductive descriptive analytical approach , the researcher traced the incidents where the elements of heritage are present , analyzed them , showed the aesthetics underlying them then show the role they play in delivering the intended message of the poet .
