We will discuss in this research the image of Cain and Abel in Modern Hebrew poetry. We have chosen to look at the story of Cain and Abel for several reasons including: this story refers to the first crime of its kind in human history after the expulsion of Adam and Eve from paradise. From this point anybody can not comment on the issue of murder, anyone doesn't realize what happened specifically. As the effects of our attention to the interrelationships which found in the story such as the relationship between God and Cain , the relation within the family represented in the relationship between Cain and his brother Abel .
Hebrew literature has touched the stories contained in the old testament in several areas, and the poetry is considered one of the best that addresses these stories because it improves the expression of feelings and thoughts concentrate and direct .
And the poetry doesn't need naturally to the full story to express the messages and implications which wants to express them, discourse organize in a few lines of poetry, the reader can be absorbed.
In as much , because the poetry mostly regulates briefly in a few lines, so we find the poetry has over one tributary and more than one interpretation who increases the depth and the beauty of the poem.
