This study examines the role of the means of research in this study in determining the role of the media in encouraging the public to visit religious tourism sites and determine the extent of their contribution in encouraging them to visit these sites compared with other factors that drive them to this visit. The study was taken from the religious shrines in Baghdad and my client these shrines were a model for research. The religious shrines in Baghdad were the (holy shrine of Al-Kadhimiya), (the shrine of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Kilani), (the shrine of Abu Hanifa al-Nu'man) and (the shrine of Sayed Idris). As well as Opportunities galore offering visitors to the visual media in these locations, including the religious lectures and programs broadcast there.
Therefore, the problem of research is based on the following questions: To what extent has the media, especially the visual media, been able to form religious tourism awareness among the Iraqi public? How much role did she play in encouraging the public to visit religious tourist sites?
In this research, statistically significant correlation was found between the level of role played by the media in encouraging respondents to visit religious tourist sites and the increase in the popularity of this visit, but this relationship was negative.
