The concept of social capital appeared with the writings of "Alexis de Tocqviell", "Lida Hanifan" and "James Coleman" and at a later stage with "Robert Putnam" and in the last two decades the World Bank and international bodies have adopted the term social capital and head Institutional money and their role in productivity, combating poverty, enhancing trust and respect within society, and the fact that their accumulation leads inevitably to creating a strategic nucleus for sustainable human development.
