This research aims at shedding light on all agreements and treaties that took place between Mamluk Sultanate and the Crusaders during the reign of Sultan Al-Mansur Qalawun, as well as focusing on the method of both parties in managing these agreements and treaties, the extent of compatibility of the policy of Mamluks in concluding agreements with Islamic law, and the extent of the success of Sultan Al-Mansur Qalawun in Defending the values and rights of the Islamic Ummah and liberating its lands and sanctities from the Crusaders, whether by war, jihad, or diplomatic means.
This research also addresses some texts of agreements and treaties that took place between Sultan Al-Mansur Qalawun and the Crusaders and the most important things they touched.
This research concludes important results, which reveal that the Crusader Islamic conflict was not only a war struggle, but also included political and economic relations between the two parties. The Islamic and Crusader agreements and treaties resulted in the resolution of many conflicts between them and the achievement of political and economic benefits for both parties.
