It is worth mentioning that there are several scientific figures have been distinguished in the books of Islamic history. These figures are used to travel as a way to seek knowledge regardless of the knowledge type or branch. The majority of these figures have searched the sciences of religion and some have searched natural sciences، pure sciences while others master and adjust more than one kind of knowledge.
One of the well-known historical figures who searches the science of religion and history of the nations is Al- Hussein bin Hamdan ( 346 AH) who is born in Iraq،brought up in Egypt and died in Levant . During his early age، Al- Hussein bin Hamdan was travelling from city to another between Iraq، Hijaz, Egypt and The Levant seeking knowledge, especially the biography of the Prophet () which makes him write several books concerning the biography and general histories.
