إن دراسة المصادر التاريخية تنال قسطا کبيرا من اهتمامات الباحثين، ومنها على سبيل المثال المصادر المملوکية التي تحتاج إلى الکثير من الدراسات کي تسلط الضوء عليها.
تتناول هذه الورقة البحثية معرکة حربية وقعت بين المماليک والمغول في القرن الثامن الهجري، وهي معرکة البليخ 708هـ/ 1308م، والسبب الرئيسي لأهمية هذه المعرکة هو أن المصادر المملوکية لم تتحدث عنها باستثناء المؤرخ العيني الذي ذکر أسباب هذه المعرکة وأحداثها ونتائجها، وهو ما يجعلنا نتساءل عن المصادر التي نقل منها هذا المؤرخ

The study of historical sources receives a large part of the interests of researchers, including, for example, Mamluk sources, which need a lot of studies in order to shed light on them.
This research paper explains a war battle that took place between the Mamluks and the Mongols in the eighth century AH, It is a battle of Balikh in 708 A.H./1308 A.D, and the main reason for the importance of this battle is that the Mamluk sources did not talk about it except for the specific historian Al’yni who mentioned the causes of this battle and its events and results, which makes us wonder about the sources from which this historian was transferred
